Group Work: Video

The group video project went very smoothly. More smoothly than I thought. Everyone in the group all contributed as much as they could. Once our idea came together the storyboard was easy. and everything in the shooting went smoothly. We only had to re shoot a few scenes but we had no real trouble. This was a great a fun project.

Audio Assignment

My assignment is plain and simple, and I like it that way. The original noise is a clip of a cougar (tried lion, wasn't as good). From my perspective this soundscape is trying to show time. It may not seem like it but after putting it together I get the feeling we are stuck in the middle. on side is slow, exaggerative. The other side is fast, exciting. Our lives are in the middle, and we can lean to either side.

Ok. The new assignment was to make a website....It was pretty easy, well to me. I had previous experience with dreamweaver so it was easy to me. There were some bumps on the way but i figured it out. You can check it out here. Copy and paste it into the URL bar.

New Assignment: Storyboards

Ok so for the next assignments we had to storyboard 3 site. I put the pictures onto a site called Flickr. All you need to do is click the sets on the side to see the pictures in order.

Final Technology Assignment Part

Ok, Ok. I am very very sick right now so give me a break. Anyone reading this is lucky I'm typing it and not in bed where I should be. I forgot to list all the technology I use over the week so here it is.

Technoloy Review

OK. now to complete my assignment.

To do a quick little review on whats with the blog right now. I have an assignment to use a piece of technology for 2 days straight and then evaluate this. The piece of technology I used was my Nintendo Wii and heres my review.

I used my Wii for two days and I realized there were only a couple things that frustrated me.
1. The distance need to use the wii-mote. I had to be at least 2 feet way to use the wii-mote or the sensor bar wont pick it up. Thats a little problem in a small dorm room.
2. I can't think of anything else. The Wii is perfect (Nintendo Fanboy Opinion).
I really use it in the afternoon or at night when people are around that also want to play. To use the Wii you really only need to be able to move your wrist and look onto the TV screen but the joy of the Wii is that you are supposed to do full motions and really get into the game. Add noises from the TV and from the speaker in the Wii-mote and you feel part of the game itself.

Technoloy interest day 2

ok so. here post number 2 about my thoughts on my Wii (the piece of technology I am observing (that doesn't fit, thee word observing but whatever)). So i spent about an hour just beating my rommie in Super Smash brothers Melee. He only beat me in one round when i was jiggulypuff and he was luigi. of well i was still fun. if you havent noticed my grammer and ect is really going down the drain. i decided to really presonalized this blog by making it exactly what i write down, so there. and also I'll be posting the part 2 off the assignment aka the actual analysis 2morrow....or friday.... i havent decieded yet.

New assignment and new class

Theres this new assignment for my IASC 1P10 course that i'm going to have a little trouble doing. what we need to do is take pictures of out technological uses but i don't have a camera. Yes i am in quite a pickle but i'll use my genius to figure it out so don't worry. anyway i went to the class i missed twice (i didn't miss by choice, i was givin wrong info) and it was kool. we spent the whole time trying to give a definition to interactivity. I really enjoyed it and can't wait till we start projects. the teacher was kool, making jokes and stuff. anyway for the project mentioned above i am going to put my Wii as the device i will be using. More info 2morrow.

Blog 1: In Class

Ok so.... I'm in my IASC 1P100 class on Monday morning. I'm tired. i also found out I've missed like 3 courses already so I'm kinda freaked but hopefully it will work out......i hope. so class is gong on and we are not really doing anything yet... hopefully something soon. They also moved a class of mine, again. lucky it doesn't f*ck anything up like last time.

This seems like a pretty good class i mean it reminds me of my media arts class in high school but on macs, and in uni, and like my future is on the balance ect ect. I'll blog after class too.
